  • Abstract
This paper presents a UWB radar system with mechanical scanning. The advantages of UWB technology for radar are exposed, followed by a description of the mechanical scanning system. Finally, we use image processing to detect a target through a wall. We measure the impact of the radiation pattern of two antennas to improve the cross-range resolution.
