  • Abstract
The work described here is to study and learn about EIT implementation in bio-medical and material application. This paper presents the development and performance evaluation of EIT system in detecting foreign object like non-hardening clay, plastic bottle and metal object in the distilled water bath. This system uses 16-electrode in differential mode encircling a distilled water container which is used for current injection and voltage measurement. This voltage data set is used to reconstruct the conductivity profile of image area by using EIDORS Package (Electrical Impedance and Diffuse Optical Reconstruction Software).
