Abstract :
Model optimization is an indispensable process in the generator operating simulation system which is realized by virtual reality. But the general algorithm often destroys the contours of the generator model. In order to ensure the correct contour model, propose the concept of layer scan based on the optimization algorithm in the LOD model, creates the point´s specific data structure of normal. Make layer scan theory used in generator optimization. The result shows that after scanned through the layer model optimization can either reduce the complexity of the scene, or to maximize the retention of the generator model details, ensuring the realization without ambiguity.
