Abstract
A sufficient condition is presented for the asymptotical stabilization of the nonlinear control systems with the designed controller based on its approximate discrete-time models for a suitable fixed sampling period. By means of the notion of continuous prototype of nonlinear discrete-time systems we are able to discuss the asymptotical stabilization of sampled-data systems in the framework of continuous time.
