Abstract :
This paper investigates the problem of static output feedback H control for a class of nonlinear systems via a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. The considered system is approximated by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model. Based on a Lyapunov functional method, we develop a H control law which makes the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable with guaranteed H performance. In contrast to the existing results, the gains of controller are obtained by solving a set of LMIs. The proposed method is easy to implement, and can be applied to linear systems. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method.
