Abstract :
In the theory of earthquake damage prediction to buildings, the results of prediction are usually state variables. And the descriptions of some impact factors and judgment indexes are sometimes fuzzy. Therefore, based on fuzzy mathematics, a membership function for predicting earthquake damage to buildings is established, using seismic damage index as metrics to earthquake damage, using average seismic damage index as return index, using impact factors of buildings as modification index. The lack degree of impact factors is considered, which a function of modified coefficient is established through random sampling and closeness function. Finally, the feasibility of this method is verified through examples.
