Abstract :
In this paper, an innovative evaluation model, fuzzy variable evaluation model(FVEM), is introduced and applied to comprehensive assessment of reproducible ability of water resources. The procedure for calculation is presented in detail. The case study of assessing the reproducible ability of water resources of 9 divisions in the Yellow River basin is given, and the result was compared with other models. The comparison shows that FVEM is more reasonable and practicable. FVEM can also be used in various evaluation problems.
