Abstract :
Digital signal processor (DSP) controllers are getting widely used in the full digital servo amplifiers for fractional horse-power permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM). In this work, the steady performance of a current control loop based on a DSP controller is analyzed for the high-speed applications of a PMSM drive. The speed limitation due to the sampling frequency is discussed according to the analyzed results
