Abstract :
A symmetric directional coupler is proposed in this paper, which has improved directivity and wide band. It is based on multi-aperture coupler and is added with more posts in it. And this paper will show you how the design comes out and some design processes of it. Besides, you will know the whole structure of it and some more detail will also be shown in the next. Through doing like this, we can get a excellent result that the coupling coefficient changes from 19.8 to 21.5dB, and both the directivity and return loss are larger than 20dB in a wide bandwidth 29.6–59.6GHz, which seems to be a significant improvement in directional couplers.
