  • Abstract
The price of electricity is rising steadily. Due to this fact, efficient energy usage, especially in the highly complex energy infrastructures, plays a very significant role. An Energy Management System (EMS) can provide the solution for energy and costs saving. This paper presents the description of a Dynamic Energy Management System (DEMS) which was applied to a complex building infrastructure. The main focus of this study is related to a strategy for optimizing the energy consumption within a building structure and to improve the overall energy efficiency of the micro system.
