Abstract :
The axial symmetric TM-wave diffraction by the circular aperture with the presence of conical probe is analyzed rigorously using the mode-matching and analytical regularization techniques. The problem is reduced to the solution of infinite system of linear algebraic equations of the second kind. The numerical examples of the near field characteristics are discussed. The effect of the near field penetrating through the small hole is analyzed.
