Abstract :
With the rapid development of the wireless internet and mobile computing, more and more mobile-based services penetrate in business and personal life. Among them, LBS is one of the more significant services. So taken the multi-scale road network datasets in LBS as examples, this paper focuses on the multi-scale modeling, representation, and adaptive visualization for spatial data from the view of mobile service. Firstly, a multi-scale spatial modeling schema for spatial location service is proposed, and then the presentation and description for multi-scale spatial data based on SVG is discussed, and at last a case study for multi-scale Intelligent zoom of multi-scale road map is given, which will help to decrease the contradictions among the large spatial data, the narrow bandwidth and the limitation of the mobile resource.
