  • Abstract
    This paper presents a new single input single phase to dual-output three phase AC/AC converter using zeta DC/DC converter and dual-output nine switch inverter. It can be used as an interface configuration between battery and motor of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) to drive the HEV motor and charge the battery simultaneously. In order to validate the performance of proposed topology, a comparison with Z-source nine switch inverter (ZS-NSI) has been accomplished using a model-based control method and a new optimized career-based PWM modulation is introduced.
