Abstract :
A novel topology of Second Generation Current Controlled Current Conveyor (CCCII) which offers electronic adjustment of the current gain is introduced in this paper. The main attractive characteristic in comparison with the corresponding already published cells is the reduced minimum supply voltage requirement. As a design example, a 2nd-order filter has been realized using the proposed active element and its performance has been evaluated and compared with those achieved by the corresponding already introduced cells.
