Scientist and teacher of brain-power (to the 90th anniversary of professor Igor Vsevolodovich Lebedev)

I. V. Lebedev — Doctor of Engineering, Honored professor of National Technical University «Moscow Power Engineering Institute» (MPEI), Honored master of Science and Engineering of the microwave, Laureate of state prize of the USSR. I. V. Lebedev was born on the 13th of September 1922 in Moscow. He graduated Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1946. I. V. Lebedev — a creator of the powerful gas discharge devices for anti-missile systems, solid-state switches and protective devices of the microwave. Professor I. V. Lebedev — founder of the scientific school of the microwave engineering. His two-volume text book «Microwave engineering » and «Microwave electronics» was published twice and translated into English and Chinese languages. Professor I. V. Lebedev made 57 graduations of specialists of the microwave on the «Electronic devices» chair, MPEI, participated in the establishment of the University of electronic science in China. He is a research supervisor for more than 40 Ph.D.´s of science and 5 Doctors of Engineering. Professor I. V. Lebedev was awarded with government awards of USSR and China.
