Abstract
The work introduced in this paper is oriented to research performance in terms of optimal transfer of energy from a photovoltaic generator to an asynchronous pumping unit, using the concept of variable structure systems with sliding mode. The main interest lies in the implementation of a robust control by sliding mode from a non-linear photovoltaic pumping system. This control law acting on the duty cycle of the boost converter in order to transfer the maximum power delivered by the photovoltaic generator to pump unit. Thus, the robustness of the proposed control law was determined.
