Abstract :
A hardware active axon model simulating chaotic phenomena is constructed. This model is based on the traditional active line advocated by Nagumo. However, we verify that our model can be constructed without a coil, and we also implement a negative resistance characteristic that changes with time in order to simulate the chaotic phenomena on the basis of a Λ-type transistor. As a result, we show that our model shapes a specific pulse waveform, which is peculiar to this model, during transmission, and it has a certain threshold with respect to the signal height, in the same way as the traditional active line. Furthermore, we show that our model can also exhibit chaotic phenomena, unlike the traditional active line
