Abstract
In power system, voltage collapses are often caused by voltage instability of some areas, then proliferate to the overall system, make the system breakdown. Therefore how to judge the system voltage stability weak area has become a focus problem. In this paper, fuzzy subtract clustering is applied in sensitivity indices analysis method for recognizing weak voltage areas in power system. Furthermore, this method is validated through two simulations. The first simulation´s result showed that this method is as accurate as traditional modal analysis. The second simulation showed that this method is very economical for power system stability recovery.
