Abstract :
One of the problems of using microwave techniques to measure the concentration of aqueous suspensions in the wood-pulp and paper industry is that results of concentration measurements depend on the temperature and conductivity of the suspension. The designed microwave concentration meter takes into account temperature changes of the suspension in the range of 5 to 70°C and conductivity values from 0 to 15 mS/cm, and provides a possibility to measure the concentration ranging from 1% to 5% with the accuracy of ± 0.04% (absolute).
