Abstract :
We solve the problem of robust stabilization with respect to normalized coprime factor perturbations for a new class of infinite-dimensional systems with finite rank, colocated actuators and sensors and possibly infinitely many unstable eigenvalues on the imaginary axis. Such systems are often used to model large scale flexible space structures. These systems are not exponentially stabilizable, which means that the existing theory is not applicable
