Abstract
The analysis of the noise level function of the distance to the monitoring surface was fulfilled. The major requirements for the choice of the working point and for the level of the reflected radiation were formulated. Experimental research results confirming the conclusions of theoretical studies were obtained on the example of autodyne hybrid-integrated oscillator module “Tigel-08” based on 8-mm wavelength range two-mesa planar Gunn diodes.
