Abstract
Based on research of the phase plane division control method, according to the structure of wheel loader steer by wire system and its work condition, the fuzzy five states control system specially designed for wheel loader steer by wire system is introduced in this paper. To verify its performance, the controller was simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK based on the model of wheel loader steer by wire system. Simulation results indicate that, compared with five states controller, the fuzzy five states controller is more effective especially to the wheel loader steer by wire system with the simple control rules and good performance of rapid response, short transition time, less steady state error, good tracking performances and disturbance rejection abilities.
