Abstract
This paper presents an object oriented approach to the design and implementation of an electronic circuit simulator. A class hierarchy represents the various types of circuit elements. A matrix class template demonstrates reuse for several different types of analysis. The approach results in a significant advantage by reducing the programming effort required to install new models and new simulation algorithms in the simulator
