Abstract :
A comparison of spaceborne SAR´s spatial resolution and radiometric characteristics is given for two sounding signal modulation types: LFM and M-sequence. Images obtained in sample SAR hardware-in-the-loop tests using reflected signal simulation technique are analyzed. Spatial resolution was estimated using impulse response method, while radiometric characteristics were estimated using differential radiocontrast method.
