Abstract
Sparsity regularization with lp (0 <; p ≤ 1) diversity is applied to diffuse optical tomography to localize the changes in the optical properties. Numerical simulations are conducted and show that the sparsity regularization technique successfully localizes the changes in the absorption coefficient in biological media. It is found that smaller sparsity parameters provide more localized reconstructed images.
