Abstract :
In this report the features of reception of the high information radar image (RI) are considered at use of LFM impulse signal as a sounding signal. At processing of such signals we have an inevitable problem connected with presence of the incompressible residual of the signal function. The level of these incompressible residuals depends not only on the compression algorithm, but in many respects on presence of the distortion and noise in radar system hardware as well. The conducted researches have allowed developing a simple method of estimation for the level of these distortions, and also establishing a connection of these distortions´ level with the lowest possible level of side lobes signaling function of the sending signal.
