Abstract :
The CC-Link is a world-standard open field network. System engineers use engineering tools to configurate, operate, and maintain field devices. The engineering tools for CC-Link devices are different for each device and used individually. For the integration of engineering tools, the Field Device Tool(FDT) has been attracting attention. The present study was undertaken in order to apply the FDT technology to the CC-Link protocol. The study focuses on defining the extended FDT specification for the CC-Link protocol.
