Abstract

The paper gives the object-oriented multi-scale retrieval theory for educational image resources. (1) from the actual needs of education and teaching, analyzing the object-oriented features of image for educational resources; (2) descriptors for image of educational resources are systematically presented according to the object-oriented features of image for educational resources, which have nothing to do with their size, location and direction; (3) the object-oriented multi-scale retrieval method for image of educational resource is raised based on multi-scale segmentation; (4) a platform of object-oriented multi-scale retrieval for image of educational resource is implemented based on the object-oriented database.
