Abstract :
The construction principles of the phase accumulator in direct digital frequency synthesizers are considered. The mathematical analysis of propagation delays in the transfer phase drives is carried out. The basis for the construction of high-speed Galois phase accumulators of computing frequency synthesizers is considered. Application of the proposed structures of phase accumulators allows reducing energy consumption of the synthesizers and improving their performance characteristics.
