Abstract :
The behavior of an electron beam in plasma in the presence of external fields is investigated. The analysis of electron beam divergence dependence vs. concentration of ions in the interaction space is carried out. It is demonstrated that a longitudinal magnetic field and positively charged plasma in combination can be used for confinement of the electron beam.
