Abstract :
We have constructed a real-time measurement system that reduces the measurement period by half that of the existing system by reducing the sweep period of the tunable laser by half. In this paper, we report on the construction of a system that can measure the reflected wavelengths of multi-point FBGs every 2 s - the repeat period of tunable laser sweeping - and on the real-time measurement of static strain.
