Abstract
Features of a new program in basic electrical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute are described. The program is based on the concept of the Spiral Curriculum where each topic is discussed first at a simple level and subsequently revisited at a later stage in more depth. Laboratory exercises and projects play an essential supporting role to classroom discussion
