Abstract
The multiwave numerical model of magnetron type amplifiers (amplitrons, stabilitrons, forward-wave and backward-wave amplifiers with drift space) is described. This model allows describing the process of “working” signal amplification and excitation of oscillations side types caused by multiple input and output reflections of high-frequency waves. It is shown that the registration of possible self-excitation of a device allows determining adequately the limits of a region of amplification according to anode current and voltage.
