Abstract
This paper presents research in steering control techniques for an automated all-terrain vehicle (ATV). The work presented here focused particularly on modification of previous control methods for a motorized steering system done by another team in order to eliminate problems with motor overheating. Hardware and software techniques were utilized in the process of exploring the cause of the heating, and what has been learned can be integrated into the ATV systems.
