Abstract :
Within the framework of carrying out the instructions of the President of Russian Federation and developing the 2nd generation Cospas-Sarsat System, it is necessary to increase the reliability of the automatic activation during the aviation accidents and to decrease the time before the first burst which should contain the aircraft position coordinates. Under the auspices of leading experimental- design departments specializing in distress radio beacons and leading experimental-design departments of aircraft industry, some researches which make it possible to develop the experimental software-hardware complex based on the serially produced articles for the performance of a number of bench tests have been carried out.
