  • Abstract
    The unused possibilities for signal coordinate determination of a radiation source (RS) with phase manipulation (PM) in the existing mobile communication systems are shown. The usage of sparse antenna arrays and a radiation source location in the Fresnel region of the antenna array for this case are examined. The approaches and scheme realizations of phase radio systems for coordinate determination (PRCD) for estimating bearing angle, tilt angle for plane and spherical phase fronts and distance estimation to RS with PM when electromagnetic wave phase front curvature is present, are proposed.
