Abstract
Describes an approach for structuring ideas during software development. We design an ad hoc conversational model, which is based on an issue-based information system (IBIS) model, to capture the ideas in the phases of object-oriented analysis and object-oriented design (OOA/OOD). The issue-based system was developed for collaborating on complex design problems, and the object-oriented approach is considered as a new methodology for fighting against the challenges of developing complex software systems. We propose a new approach, called the issue-base object model (IBO), that combines the IBIS model and object-oriented methods for idea processing in computer-aided software design.<>
