Abstract :
The channel capacity of 60 GHz wireless communications systems over Rayleigh fading channels and Ricean fading channels for line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) with Phase shift keying (PSK) are investigated. The channel capacity in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel is compared with the capacity over Rayleigh fading channels and the capacity over Ricean fading channels. The q-ary PSK modulation channel capacity analyses were conducted for Ricean fading channel, AWGN channel, and Rayleigh channel, where the SNR per symbol is known.
