Abstract :
Strategic management and its cohesion are the prerequisite to the maintenance of high performance of each company. A complicated and complex problem is concerned and it is necessary to solve it in a system way. Current approaches of strategic management accept strategic concepts not only as an organization´s answer to the changes in the environment, but also as a creation of different strategic factors. The examples of Czech companies show that it is the corporate parenting that has become a limiting factor of its success and failure. The paper is focused partly on the characteristics of the national company assessments and partly on the influence of parents´ skills on success of enterprise with an application on that how these factors influence the evolution of some Czech companies.
