Abstract :
In this contribution, we present some open problems related to the scattering cancellation approach to cloaking (actual implementation of cloaks at microwave and optical frequencies, operation for both polarizations, effect of the object finite size, effect of the object shape), propose possible solutions, and, finally, present some new applications at microwave and optical frequencies.
