Abstract :
The new setup for the Plasma Position and Current Control (PPCC) to be implemented in the next JET operational campaign is described. A decoupling control scheme is used because of the strong coupling between the coils introduced by the new divertor coils and magnetic configuration. A general discussion of the method applied with results of simulations is presented. Effects of modelling errors and operational limits are discussed
