Abstract :
The Electromagnetic Diagnostic of the RFX experiment is based on 508 magnetic probes, consisting of coils placed along the torus outside the vacuum vessel. In order to reduce the huge amount of data, without losing useful information, a flexible system for the selection of the signals to be acquired has been designed and implemented. The remote control of the amplification gain and the calibration of each conditioning chain are possible as well. The control system is based on a user-friendly X Window interface specifically developed, as part of the RFX Data Acquisition and Analysis System
