            Abstract : 
In this paper, gate port power dissipation of class E amplifier is obtained for gate driving with rectangular signal. As a result, rectangular signal driving consumes less power than sinusoidal signal driving in terms of same output power and efficiency. However, rectangular driving needs higher speed driving circuit than that of sinusoidal.
