Abstract :
Proposes a new switchbox router based on the segment assignment for circular routing. In fact, our switchbox router is divided into three phases: the iterative phase, the merging phase and the via minimization phase, to solve the routing specification. As a result, many benchmark examples have been tested on the proposed switchbox router. The routing results on all of these benchmark examples are routed successfully in the routing region. In addition to the successful routing on these switchboxes, our switchbox router is compared with other switchbox routers with respect to the number of vias and the wire lengths.<>
