            Abstract : 
In this paper, we introduce the concepts of IV-similarity measure and IV-entropy of interval valued fuzzy sets, investigate the relationship between the IV-similarity measure and the IV-entropy of interval valued fuzzy sets in detail, prove three theorems that the IV-similarity measure and the IV-entropy of interval valued fuzzy sets can be transformed by each other based on their axiomatic definitions and propose some formulas to calculate the IV-similarity measure and the IV-entropy of interval valued fuzzy sets.
