  • Abstract
    In this study, design and implementation of a MT (multi tasking) educational MPS (modular production system) Unit and SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) application is introduced. The aim of the study is to prepare a modular, functional mechatronics educational material which simulates to real-life production system. The MT MPS Unit carries out the following operations: materials are differentiated according to the materials type as plastic or metal in testing module, materials are taken to the other positions in the MPS unit by means of vacuum handling. Materials are processed on a turn table and sorted according to the type of the materials. All processes are being done without human intervention. Visualization of all the processes in the MT MPS unit is also realized via InTouch 7.0 SCADA software. It is possible to run, control and visualization of the system via the prepared SCADA application program.
