Abstract :
With the help of microcomputers, the practical and valuable finite element method (FEM) approach to problems in the computer aided design of DC machines for the electric machine manufacturing industry is presented. For the examples given in this paper, excellent computational results concerning the test data are given. A lot of figures produced in the CAD work are also provided.<>
