Abstract
Several queue management algorithms are evaluated in terms of their capabilities of maintaining high resource utilization, identifying and restricting disproportionate bandwidth usage, and their deployment complexity. The performance of Drop Tail, RED, ARED is compared based on simulation results and with respect to parameters such as throughput, packet end to end delay, and average queue size.
