Abstract :
In order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the ultrasonic-testing, a type of ultrasonic-testing instrument of high ratio of performance to cost is developed successfully. With the help of embedded computer and takes full use of the traditional ultrasonic-testing device, FPGA (field programmable gates array), USB, electronic technology and wavelet transform signal processing; the system realizes data collection, save, display, analysis and processing. Using wavelet packet transform, one-dimensional time signal expanded to two-dimensional time-frequency distribution image, to solute time-frequency resolution of conflicts. Experimental results show that gain of testing instrument is 120 dB, the smallest regulation step is 1 dB, margin of the detection sensitivity >60 dB, dynamic range is 29 dB~ 31 dB. It has the advantage of small, low-cost, plug and play, stability, high rate, efficiency and reliability. A very good foundation for the developing of imaging, intelligent and automation of ultrasonic-testing is established by this device.
