  • Abstract
With a majority of investment in a software project going towards testing, the need to justify the investment and value has been increasing day by day. Some of the key value demands from clients have been on test coverage, finding bugs, learning about the product, assessing risks associated with the product, performance of the product in the areas of usability, install ability, portability. Can traditional testing approach of writing test cases and then executing them meet this demand for growing complexity and shrinking time and budget of the future? This paper aims at bringing out value demonstrations of exploratory testing as an approach that can suit the needs for growing demands of value and shrinking time and budget.
